ABSOLUT Vodka makes a smash hit...movie?

STOCKHOLM (Mar 23) - Marketing these days is getting more and more creative. The internet spawns the most innovative marketing techniques, like those banner ads we all love, and spam e-mails, and the like. There are also plenty of product placements in various movies, which prove to be quite successful. However, ABSOLUT Vodka has taken it to the next level to hire Spike Jonze (Creator of both the recent Where the Wild Things Are and Jackass) to create a 30-minute robot love story, purely for ABSOLUT "www.imheremovie.com".

@ becomes Art - Symbol inducted into MoMA

This isn't an ASCII joke. @ Is now everywhere, and is being used for more and more daily usages from e-mail all the way to Twitter. It has beaten the ampersand (&) and the number sign (#) in terms of relevancy in today's society, and it seems that the Museum of Modern Art has recognized it's importance in today's society not only as a functional symbol, but as a historical piece of art.

Activision teams with ABC to bring Wipeout! to your DS and WII - No pain necessary

SANTA MONICA, CA - Activision Publishing announced in a press release that it is bringing ABC's hit show "Wipeout" to your Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. Wipeout: The Game will bring all of the intricacies of having to master your balance, speed, and precision (pretty much Wii Sports on 4 cans of Red Bull), to overcome the world's largest and comical obstacle course on American TV.

"Watching ABC's 'Wipeout' on TV is outrageous fun, and viewers can't help but dream of trying the obstacles themselves," stated David Oxford, from Activision Publishing. "We designed the video game with this in mind. Wipeout: The Game brings all of the challenge and laugh-out-loud hilarity without the pain."

Google TV - Next step in World Domination

Google has slowly but surely gotten a foothold in all facets of our society, starting from a simple search engine, all the way to our phones, browsers, OS, internet advertisements, and the like. It seems that they are still not slowing down anytime soon. They are looking towards a new (or perhaps older horizon), the more antiquated media, Television.

The project, dubbed Google TV (I'm sure GTV is already taken somewhere), is a partnership between Sony, Intel, and Logitech to create a product that would enable TV goers to view popular internet content through their televisions. Very reminiscent of Apple TV, the Xbox 360, or the Playstation Platforms, it's definitely not uncharted territory to say the least.

Final Fantasy XIII sets franchise record

Square Enix has reported a record breaking 1million units in its first week of North American sales, totaling a whopping 96 million units worldwide since its debut in Japan. This even among the primary complaint of the game having much too linear gameplay, especially in the first half of the game.

God of War 3 Achievement Unlocks Mystery

First of all if you haven't picked up a copy of God of War 3 yet, Sony's final installment of the epic God of War series which started originally for the PS2, then do so. However, if you are one of the millions that have gotten your hands on this game, and one of the even fewer that have gotten a platinum trophy through PSN, then you may have noticed that it gives you a 'secret' website URL "http://www.godofwar.com/spartansstandtall/".
